Yes. Each person on the Tour must have their paper ticket with them to gain entry into each stop.

Tickets will be mailed to you. If you purchase after September 7, you will need to pick up your ticket(s) at the Nicholson House the day of the House Tour.

Children under 12 will not be admitted. We also recommend that attendees be fully mobile and able to walk and climb stairs without assistance. Most homes feature 2-3 levels each and you occasionally will have to wait in line to gain entry.

Any food or drink and high heeled shoes. 

All attendees will be asked to wear protective foot booties as they enter the home and remove at the exit.

As with all things in Lakewood, parking will be at a premium. You are encouraged to walk and/or ride your bike. Please follow all parking signs as posted.

Suggested parking locations and notes:

  • 17612 Edgewater Dr – along the south side of Edgewater Dr 
  • 1046 Kenneth Dr – Kenneth Dr and Lake Rd 
  • 1041 Forest Cliff – Lake Rd 
  • 16613 Seneca Ave
  • 1604 Cohassett Ave – Madison Park. You can easily walk between this home and Waterbury Rd home. 
  • 1560 Waterbury Rd – Madison Park. You can easily walk between this home and Cohassett Ave home.

A digital program with tons of facts, historical information, and things to look for in each home will be made available on this page a few days before the tour. This page can also be accessed by scanning the QR code on your ticket.

Proceeds from the House Tour benefit programs of the Lakewood Historical Society and the operation of the Oldest Stone House Museum and the Nicholson House. This is the Lakewood Historical Society’s largest fundraiser.

The Parton Party takes place at a home not part of Sunday’s House Tour. Mingle under the stars during our Patron Party at a beautiful lakefront home. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Sip a glass of wine or an ice cold beer while visiting with friends. The house has been beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished by the homeowner. Enjoy peaceful Lake Erie views from the landscaped backyard in the perfect backdrop for a casual yet elegant evening.

Patron Party Tickets are  $100 per person and includes a Sunday Tour ticket. You can buy:
