Door to Door History
We are thrilled to launch Door to Door History walking tours for 2024, made possible by a generous Neighborhood Opportunity Grant from the Healthy Lakewood Foundation.
Tours will start at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesdays August 27, September 10, and September 24. The tour will traverse both sides of Detroit Avenue while highlighting via tablet select homes and stores of 19th and 20th century Lakewood. The tour will last around 90 minutes. We look forward to sharing this engaging walk through Lakewood’s history with you!
Tours are free to the public but limited to 20 individuals. Please sign up via the form below and let us know how many are in your group. Comfortable walking shoes and water are highly recommended.
