Nicholson House
Rules and Regulations
1. All rentals must be over by 12 midnight.2. One adult chaperone for every ten minors. College groups must be chaperoned by four faculty/parent adults.
3. Failure of caterers, patrons or guests to vacate the premises as specified will result in automatic “overtime” billing assessed at the hourly rate.
4. Moving furniture and/or equipment is strictly prohibited.
5. No materials may be attached to walls, fixtures, or furnishings (i.e., no tape, nails, tacks, etc.)
6. Pictures and mirrors may not be removed.
7. Fireplaces are decorative and are not operable.
8. Alcoholic beverages may he served at functions.
9. Parking: Parking in the side lot is reserved for the House Manager, caterer, and two for renters. Driveway may be used for drop-off only. DO NOT BLOCK DRIVE!
10. Amplified or electrified music is not permitted in the yard or patio areas. All music must stop by 11 p.m.
11. Open candles are not permitted. Any candles used must be dripless.
12. No popcorn, rice, glitter, confetti or holly greens with berries are permitted in the Nicholson House or on the grounds.
13. All decorations must be removed at the end of the function, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
14. No smoking is permitted inside the Nicholson House. Smoking is permitted in the yard and patio areas.
15. CATERING: Caterers must possess a current valid Food Service Operator License. Only last minute preparation is permitted in the Nicholson House’s residential kitchen. Caterer must bag and tie all trash. All appliances, countertops, and floors must be cleaned.
