Ohio Heritage

A program for those who are going into the third, fourth, or fifth grade (and sixth graders who have not participated before). Children step back in time to become pioneer children of the 1800's.

children sawing a log By learning to cook on the fireplace, experiencing pioneer school, playing pioneer games, and working on exciting crafts, the children have fun learning how Ohio pioneers lived.
The Oldest Stone House is used through the courtesy of the Lakewood Historical Society, the Stone House Society Volunteers and Junior Aides.  girl with wool
boy carrying water Each year Ohio Heritage summer camp program is a great success. Dozens of children enjoy a fun and exciting educational experience.
